Payment
To schedule a service appointment with Hughes Heating and Cooling we first require full payment prior to dispatch. This payment guarantees your appointment time with one of our service technician professionals and covers up to one full hour of diagnostic service. This charge has been put in place to cover costs for our service vehicles, employee travel time and other expenses needed to ensure you the best possible service.
*New HVAC system installations require a $2,000.00 deposit to be paid prior to date of installation. All deposits are nonrefundable.
*New Water heater installations require a $100.00 deposit to be paid prior to date of installation. All deposits are nonrefundable.
Non-Payment
For any returned checks a $50.00 bank processing fee will be applied to your account. If payment is not collected within 30 days of invoice date, the customer will be charged a $10.00 per month late fee. The seller reserves the right to call upon collection department to collect for outstanding bills after 6 months of non payment. If payment is still not collected the seller reserves the right to process lean on home for entire amount owed to Hughes Heating and Cooling. If payment is still not collected the seller reserves the right to remove any parts or equipment installed. It is agreed that the seller will retain title to any equipment or materials furnished until final and complete payment is made.
Refunds, Guarantees and Warranties
When an appointment is scheduled we commit to having enough time available to provide you with our services which in turn affects how many we can serve. For that reason Hughes Heating and Cooling does not offer any refunds for service calls, however, we stand behind our work and we always go above and beyond for our clients. That is why we offer a 30 day workmanship guarantee! Hughes Heating and Cooling also provides you the service of warranty processing. If you purchased ANY new system and you are still under your manufactures warranty Hughes Heating and Cooling will process your warranty for you free of charge (Manufacture fees and/or shipping fees may apply).
Cancellations
If you need to cancel your appointment, there will be no fee as long as you cancel within 24 hours of appointment time. For cancellations made within 24 hours or if customer is not at residence at time of appointment window Hughes Heating and Cooling will apply a $35.00 non refundable cancellation fee to the account.
